Q: I tapped out of funds while playing. How do I get more money?
A: For additional funds, go to PLAYER SETTINGS located at the bottom left of the main screen.
Choose USER SETUP. You can either borrow money from the house or reset the bankroll to the default
amount. Keep in mind if you reset your bankroll, all of your player statistics will be reset as well.
Q: How do I change to a different version of Solitaire?
A: To change to a different Solitaire (or other games that have variations), choose GAME SETTINGS
from the main menu. Choose the game category (i.e. Poker or Solitaire, etc.), then choose the
variation you wish to play and click OK or press ENTER on your keyboard. At the main menu, select the
category you wish to play and the variation you selected will launch. (SPECIAL NOTE: You may have
specific display settings in Windows that keeps you from seeing the entire main menu. We have a
patch posted on our website to fix this problem.)
Q: When I launch the program, I get the following error “failure to initialize setup” - what does
that mean?
A: Card Games requires DirectX. It could be that your version of Direct X is not up to date. DirectX
is a Microsoft product that allows PC’s with Windows to work better with game graphics, etc. Download
the latest version to your PC, reboot and then launch Card Games again. Visit http://www.microsoft.
com/directx to update DirectX.
Q: Can I check my email or do something else on my PC without closing out the game?
A: Yes, you can. You can switch to another screen or to you desktop by pressing the ALT (+) TAB
keys on your keyboard.
Q: When playing certain Solitaire games, I cannot re-deal or reshuffle as the game allows. Do you
have a fix?
A: Yes, an update is available. Click below to download the update.
