Rolling Marbles
Q: Do I use the mouse or the keyboard to play Rolling Marbles?
A: Use both the mouse and keyboard for this game -
- LEFT mouse button will rotate left.
- RIGHT mouse button will rotate right.
- SPACE bar presents a new marble (only in two player mode).
- F9 will save the screen to a file called “screenXXX.bmp” (helpful for planning strategy).
- ESC will take you back to the menu screen.
Q: I get a blank screen when I try to play Rolling Marbles.
A: The game requires Microsoft DirectX (a library for games). Check to make sure you have the latest
version installed by going to the Microsoft web site where you can download it and the latest version will
install automatically.
Click here to go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-
bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&DisplayLang=en.
After you install DirectX, restart your PC and launch the game again.
Q: Why is Rolling Marbles playing slowly on my PC?
A: If your computer is older, the specifications may be on the low side for the game. Try turning off the
Shadows feature in the Options Menu. You could also try to Minimize Sound Volume in the Options menu.
Mahjongg Challenge
Q: Why is Mahjongg Challenge slow on my PC?
A: The game requires Microsoft DirectX (a library for games) so you should be sure you have the latest
version installed. You can download it directly from Microsoft and it will install the latest version
automatically.
Go to http://www.microsoft.com/directx/download.asp and install it. Restart your PC and launch the game
again.
If the game is still slow after you’ve updated DirectX, you can also run the game in Direct3D mode. On
the startup menu for the game, there is an OPTIONS button. Selecting options will allow you to run the
game in "Direct3D" mode. We recommend running the game using the default "DirectX" but if you have a
good video card you can try 3d mode for faster play. Note that this setting may not work with all 3D
cards.
There is also an ADVANCED OPTIONS button which allows you to turn off shadow drawing. If the game
continues to appear sluggish, you may want to turn the shadow drawing off for faster play.
Q: Can I play the game full screen?
A: Yes. In the startup menu, select the OPTIONS button. Under APPERARANCE, you can click to play in
windowed or full screen mode. You can easily switch modes at any time during play by pressing ALT-
ENTER.
Q: Mahjongg has 12 variations but I only see four. How can I find the rest?
A: There are indeed 12 variations in Mahjongg Challenge. When you choose PLAY, you are presented
with the first four. Hit the big red arrow for more games.
Q: I am not sure how to play some of these games. Do you have a help file?
A: Yes, in the main launcher of the game, instead of hitting PLAY NOW, you can choose
HELP/INSTRUCTIONS and a complete Help File will open a browser window* with the complete help file.
(*You need to be online for this). Additionally you can download a PDF version of the help file from the
support section of our website.
ABC Island
Q: Can I play the game full screen?
A: Yes. In the startup menu, select the OPTIONS button and select full screen mode. You can also
toggle off the word hints feature and the tutorial.
Q: If I am in the middle of a game and need to change an option or quit, what do I do?
A: During game play, hit the ESCAPE button on your keyboard and you will be presented with the MENU.
Q: I clicked all the letters to spell a word, how do I get points for it?
A: After you have spelled out a word by clicking adjacent letters, click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of
your letter grid. If the word is accepted, it will be shown in the right side of your screen and you will
receive points. If the word is not accepted, nothing will happen and you need to find a new word to spell.
Q: I have spelled a word out but the game won’t accept it. Why?
A: We have a dictionary of almost 90,000 words, all of which can be used to spell out words and submit
them for points. However, if you spell out a word that is not in our dictionary, the game will ignore the
‘submit’ command. Unacceptable words include profanity and other explicit and violent words. You can
spell them out if the letters are presented to you, however the game will not accept them for submission
and points.

Real Jigsaw Puzzle
Q: When I load the game, there are three ways to play. What do I do?
A: When the game starts, you are presented with Campaign, Puzzle Bank (otherwise known as Gallery in
other sections of the game) and Make Your Puzzle.
The “Campaign” section is an adventure based game where you explore a castle and you must solve all
puzzles in a room/level in order to unlock other rooms/levels.
The “Puzzle Bank/Gallery” is where you can solve miscellaneous puzzles and also store all puzzles you
have stored and played to date.
The “Make Your Puzzle” section is where you can load your own pictures into the game to solve. Insert
the picture, set the piece style, size and curvature, as well as other puzzle options, then click “Make and
Play”. After you solve the puzzle, you can then save the puzzle in your gallery or email it to a friend.
