Legends 2: Hidden Relics The Broken Clues
We’ve had a few reports of people getting a black screen when they are playing The Broken
Clues game in Legends 2.
We discovered a problem with some video cards so we have posted a link to the fix below.
Please follow these steps carefully to update your program.
YOU SHOULD PRINT THESE DIRECTIONS BEFORE CONTINUING
Legends 2 Hidden Relics must be installed to your PC before you download this patch. If
you have already uninstalled it, please reinstall from your CD before proceeding.

1. Click the DOWNLOAD button and follow these simple steps:
2. Select the “Save File” option on the dialogue box that appears and click “OK.”
A “zip” file (a collection of compressed files) called TBC will be saved on your computer in the
folder where your downloads usually go. For example some people have their downloads
saved on their desktop because they are easy to find. Others select the folder where a
download will go. So the instructions may be slightly different depending on your computer.
If you are selecting the folder where you want to save the download, follow these steps:
Go to the Windows ICON button (called the “Start” button if you are using Windows XP) on
lower left corner of your monitor and select COMPUTER.
• Double-click Local Disk (C:)
• Double-click PROGRAM FILES folder
• Double-click ON HAND SOFTWARE folder
• Double-click LEGENDS 2 HIDDEN RELICS folder.
The download may take a few minutes.
Once the TBC zip file is downloaded, locate it and move it to the Legends 2 folder. (Skip this
step if you have already saved the zip file to the LEGENDS 2 HIDDEN RELICS folder.)
Go to the Windows ICON button (called the “Start” button if you are using Windows XP) on
lower left corner of your monitor and select COMPUTER.
• Double-click Local Disk (C:)
• Double-click PROGRAM FILES folder
• Double-click ON HAND SOFTWARE folder
• Double-click LEGENDS 2 HIDDEN RELICS folder.
Right-click on PLAIN folder TBC and select DELETE. (This will remove the old game file.)
Then Right-click the “TBC” file and select "Extract Here”
(The options to unzip the file depend on the zip reader program you are using. Zip Reader
asks you to “Unzip to” and gives you the option to select a folder to unzip to. Other zip
readers will give you the option to “extract here” into the folder where the TBC.zip file is
located. If that is the LEGENDS 2 HIDDEN RELICS folder then select “extract here.”)
IMPORTANT: Be sure that the TBC.zip file is unzipped into the LEGENDS 2 HIDDEN
RELICS folder.
The extraction could take a couple of minutes. Once the extraction is completed, you can
then right-click on the zip file TBC.zip and select DELETE.
Exit out of this area, but clicking the 'X' in upper right hand corner of window.
The new version is installed and you're now ready to play "The Broken Clues." You can
access the game by clicking the Legends 2 Hidden Relics icon on your desktop.
Or if you do not have the desktop icon installed, you can load the game by selecting:
• The Windows Icon on the lower left side of your screen
• All programs
• On Hand Software
• Legends 2 Hidden Relics
