Frequently asked questions for Classic Sudoku.
Q: When trying to run the Classic Sudoku program, the following error message
occurs: "The ordinal 1334 could not be located in the dynamic link library IML32.dll.”
If the OK button is clicked then the following message occurs:
"This application cannot start as it cannot create needed files. There may not be enough
free disk space." about an orinal in a dynamic library”. What does that mean?
A: This problem is based on a conflict between various versions of two files (iml32.dll and
dirapi.dll). These files are used by Macromedia programs or programs made with
Macromedia products, which includes Classic Sudoku.
They should only exist in the application folder or Macromedia folders. If they are located
anywhere else on your hard drive they will cause this error message to occur.
See the reports at the following URLs (They relate to similar problems):
http://director-online.com/forums/read.php?f=1&i=1320&t=1320
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_19304
This is step by step instructions for correcting the problem:
1. Go to Search option. You will find this by clicking on the Start menu.
2. Select 'Files and Folders' and search for 'IML32.dll'
3. If you find any copies of this file in the Windows, System32 or Temp directories then
please delete them (or rename if you like). Any copies of this file in other directories should
be OK. Note: Files in Macromedia directories should be OK even if the Macromedia directory
is inside the System32 directory
4. Do the same for the file 'dirapi.dll'. This should fix the problem.
Note: These files are used by Macromedia programs or programs made with Macromedia
products, including Classic Sudoku. Deleting them (or renaming) should not affect the
running of your computer but may affect programs like Flash Player.
If you would prefer not to delete these files then rename them instead. We suggest the
names 'iml32OLD. dll' and 'dirapiOLD.dll'. This procedure makes returning the computer to
its original state easy.
This is generally caused by a compatibility issue with versions of Macromedia, a program
that is probably already on your PC for other software that you use.
Q: I bought Classic Sudoku from TryGames.com site and I cannot activate it. Can you
send me the code.
A: Since the program you purchased was through a third party re-seller (TRYMEDIA /
TRYGAMES), you need to contact them directly regarding this problem as they host these
download sales.
You can access their support page here:
http://csc.trymedia.com/csc/start/affiliate=trygames/lang=EN and then you select the
program name from the drop-down menu.
